Paks is 110 kms far from Budapest in direction of south.

Organizers: Atomerõmû SE Paks, Atomerõmû TLK

System: 7 rounds swiss tournaments, 2 groups
group A over 1800 FIDE rating.
group B under 1800 FIDE rating.

Arbiters: Sándor Vidéki IA and Béla Fekete

Time limit:
group A: 100 minutes 40 moves + 30 minutes after 40 moves + 30 seconds/move in the whole game.
group B: 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move.

Prizes:
1st 500 euro, 2nd 350 euro, 3rd 260 euro, 4th 220 euro, 5th 180 euro,
6th 140 euro, 7th 100 euro, 8th 80 euro, 9th 60 euro, 10th 60 euro

The prizes are net!

Special prize: for the best woman and for players under 20, over 60 and rated under 2200.
group B: cups and subjects.
No player may win more than one prize.
Tiebreak system: The Buchholz.

The deadline of the aplication is: 15th July 2006
Personal application on the spot is necessary for all players even if they have sent their entry in advance, 14:45, 6th August.

Entry fee:
group A: 12 euro,
group B: 4 euro.
Free entry for women and title holders.

Registration fee of the Hungarian Chess Federation is 5 euro/year.

Opening ceremony: 15:15, 1st August 2006

The rounds starts at 15:45, the last round at 10:00.
Closing ceremony: 16:00, 7th August.

Accommodation: from 10 euro/person/day.
